What is contract hire?
Contract hire (also called van leasing) is a simple, long-term rental for businesses. You choose a new van, agree a contract length and an annual mileage allowance, and pay a small initial rental to get going. After that you pay the same fixed monthly rental for the whole term.
You use the van for the agreed term but don't own it — and at the end you can simply hand it back, or take up the option to purchase it. It's an easy way to keep newer, well-maintained vans on the road while protecting your cash flow.
